PhilaU led from the get-go, leading by as many as 10 points in the first half on a trey by senior guard Mike Dun. However, the Griffins hung around and threatened down the stretch as freshman guard Ryan Cook hit a three to get within five (60-55). He followed with a drive through traffic with just 15 seconds left to make it a two-point game, but Frederick made two free-throws to seal the 67-63 win.  Cook had 20 points to lead CHC (6-22) in the loss. Junior forward Malcolm Ingram added 18 points and six rebounds to Philadelphia's cause, while junior forward Mike Yocum added 12 points, 11 rebounds and three blocks.

It was GBC's first-ever CACC postseason victory. Despite trailing by 14 at the half, the Tigers came out strong in the second stanza and cut the gap to four (32-28) with 10 consecutive points to open the scoring. The Lightning answered with five straight points to retake an eight-point lead (48-40) with 10 minutes left. Felician (16-12) earned a spot into the CACC's semi-final round for the first time in five years with a 79-69 upset of the North's No. 2 seed, Post. Sophomore Devon Young matched a season high with 26 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in the victory. Ahead 46-42 with 16 minutes, 12 seconds, left in regulation, the Golden Falcons took control as sophomore Kashiff Foster scored seven points in a 15-5 run lasting nearly seven minutes. Freshman Andrew August added 14 points and four rebounds for Felician, while senior Sherrod Barrow and Foster each tossed in 11 points.
