HOLY FAMILY'S STURNS FEATURED IN SPORTS ILLUSTRATED

PHILADELPHIA, PA-Holy Family University men's basketball senior guard Michael Sturns was featured in the "Faces in the Crowd" section of the February 18th edition of Sports Illustrated.

Sturns, who hails from Fort Worth, TX, was selected for the magazine after averaging 45.0 points in two games during the week of January 28. He scored a school-record 51 points in a win over the New York Institute of Technology on February 2. Sturns earned Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) and Eastern College Athletic Conference player of the week honors for his performance. He is also leading all of Division II in scoring with 26.4 points per game.

Holy Family (18-8, 11-4 CACC) is ranked seventh in the latest NCAA Division II Northeast Regional Rankings. The Tigers will visit Nyack College in their final game of the regular season on Saturday, February 23, at 3 p.m. Holy Family has clinched the second seed in the upcoming CACC Tournament.
