PIERROT EARNS WEEKLY BASKETBALL HONOR FROM ECAC

CENTERVILLE, MA - Felician College's Michael Pierrot of Melville, NY, has been named Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Men's Basketball Player of the Week, the conference announced today. Pierrot was named Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Player of the Week on Monday.

Pierrot, a senior center, was honored after helping the Golden Falcons to a 2-1 week, all against CACC opponents. He averaged 25.3 points, 14.3 rebounds and 5.3 blocked shots in the three games, while shooting 57-percent from the field. He blocked a career-high eight shots in a triple-overtime win over Goldey-Beacom College on Feb. 5. Pierrot is a 2003 graduate of Half Hollow Hills East.
