FELICIAN COLLEGE'S MICHAEL PIERROT EARNS MEN'S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK HONORS

NEW HAVEN, CT - Michael Pierrot of Felician College has earned Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Men's Basketball Player of the Week honors for the week ending Sunday, December 17. Caldwell College forward Sam Cricelli has been selected as the Rookie of the Week.

Pierrot, a 6-10 senior center from Melville, NY, poured in 33 points and pulled down 12 rebounds in an 89-76 victory over Molloy on Monday. He shot 14-for-21 (.667) from the field and blocked one shot in the game. Pierrot currently ranks 10th in the CACC with an average of 14.9 points per-game and he is also fourth with 6.9 rebounds per-contest.

Cricelli, a 6-7 freshman forward from Brighton, England, registered 19 points, six rebounds and two steals in an 83-76 conference win over Wilmington. He shot 9-for-14 (.643) from the field.

Honorable Mention

B.J. Suchy, Caldwell - Suchy had 20 points, six assists and five rebounds in a victory over Wilmington on Saturday.

CACC Notes

Felician - Felician is 3-0 at home and 0-6 away from Rutherford. Senior C Michael Pierrot is averaging 23.3 ppg and 9.3 rpg in the three victories, as compared to 10.7 ppg and 5.7 rpg in the six losses.
