ANOTHER CACC SWEEP: DABNEY AND GRAHAM GARNER WEEKLY AWARDS FROM THE ECAC

NEW HAVEN, CT - Bloomfield College men's basketball standout Andre Dabney and Cherrise Graham of the Goldey-Beacom College women's team were both named Player of the Week for their respective sports by the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Tuesday afternoon. It is the second time this season that CACC student-athletes have earned the ECAC men's and women's awards in the same week. The honors came just hours after both student-athletes were named Player of the Week by the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC).
Dabney, a 5-10 guard from Plainfield, NJ, recorded a milestone by notching his 2,000th career-point against Holy Family on Saturday, January 13th. He reached the milestone during a 35-point outburst against the Tigers. For the week, he averaged 31.5 points, 8.0 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 3.0 steals per-game while shooting 45.8-percent (11-of-24) from long range. He also registered 28 points, seven assists and five rebounds against Felician College earlier in the week.
Graham, a 5-8 senior guard from Philadelphia, PA, averaged 25.5 points, 11.0 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 2.0 steals per-game for the week. She had 34 points, nine rebounds and four steals against Post. She also posted 17 points, 13 rebounds and six assists against Caldwell.
