MACKEY WINS GOLF SUPER REGIONAL; ADVANCES TO NCAA CHAMPIONSHIPS

MIDDLETOWN, DE-Dominican College senior Brian Mackey won the 2008 Division II Men's East/Northeast Super Regional after finishing regulation tied with a golfer from the East Region and forcing a playoff hole with an improbable finish. Post University finished fourth in the team standings and Wilmington University finished eighth. [more]

MIDDLETOWN, DE-The Post University golf team is in third place after the second day of competition at the NCAA Division II Northeast Region Tournament in Middletown, DE. The Eagles have a two-day score of 607 (307, 300) and are only two shots behind second-place Pace University (605) and four shots short of the leader, Bryant University (603). Wilmington University is in seventh place with a two-day score of 638 (329, 309). Furthermore, Dominican College senior Brian Mackey is leading the event with a two-round total of 142 (E). [more]

POST AND WILMINGTON TO COMPETE AT NCAA GOLF NORTHEAST REGIONAL

NEW HAVEN, CT-Post University and Wilmington University will both compete at the NCAA Division II Northeast Region Golf Tournament in Middletown, DE, on Monday, May 5 to Wednesday, May 7. Wilmington will serve as the host at Back Creek Golf Club. Post is the No. 3 seed at the event, while Wilmington is the seventh seed. Post is making its fourth consecutive trip to the regional, while Wilmington is a first-time participant. Furthermore, Dominican College senior Brian Mackey will compete as an individual. [more]
