RADICK NAMED CACC PLAYER OF THE WEEK FOR GOLF

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Jonathan Radick of Holy Family University has been selected the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Golfer of the Week after his performance at the NCAA Regional Tournament. Paul Tighe of Wilmington University earned Rookie of the Week distinction.
Radick, a junior from Richboro, Pa., was the first finisher from the CACC at the NCAA Atlantic/East Region Tournament, tying for eighth place with a 3-round total of 226 (77, 76, 73). Radick is the first golfer from Holy Family to ever play in the NCAA Division II Regional.
Tighe, a freshman from Logan, N.J., tied for 19th place and was the top rookie, and second overall finisher for the CACC, at the NCAA Regional. He shot rounds of 76, 78, 74 for a total of 228.
Honorable Mention
Lee Wanklyn, Post (Sr., Berkshire, England) - Tied for 25th at the NCAA Regional with a total of 231.
John Perrine, Wilmington (Fr., Sicklerville, NJ) - Tied for 37th at the NCAA Regioanal after carding a 235.
Devon Ripley, Goldey-Beacom (Fr., Camden, DE) - Shot a 3-round total of 235 to tie for 37th at the NCAA Regional.
CACC Notes
Holy Family - Jonathan Radick participated in the NCAA Division II East/Atlantic Reginal Tournament at the Resort at Glade Springs last week. He finished in a tie for the eighth position with a three-day score of 226 (10 over par) Radick tied his low round of the year (73) in the final day of competition to climb into the top ten. He missed the cut for the NCAA Championship Tournament by just a single stroke. He was the CACC’s top finisher in the event. Radick is the only golfer from Holy Family to compete in the NCAA Tournament.
