McGREGOR CLAIMS THIRD GOLF WEEKLY AWARD

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - David McGregor of Post University has claimed Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Golf Player of the Week honors for the week ending Sunday, April 18. Wilmington University's Daniel Ott was the pick for Rookie of the Week.
McGregor, a junior from Helensburgh, Scotland, led Post to its fifth straight CACC Golf Championship on Tuesday at Lyman Orchards Golf Club. McGregor also won the individual championship by virtue of a playoff victory against teammate, Lee Wanklyn. Both golfers were tied after 36 holes, and had to go to a playoff to decide the tournament's individual champion. McGregor shot rounds of 76 and 71.
Ott, a freshman from Pilesgrove, N.J., finished in third place at the CACC Championship to lead the Wildcats to a second place finish as a team. He shot rounds of 79 and 72 for a total of 151.
Honorable Mention
Lee Wanklyn, Post (Sr., Berkshire, England) - Fell in a shootout to teammate David McGregor at the CACC Championships to finish in second place overall. Fired rounds of 76 and 71 to force a playoff to decide the individual champion.
Paul Tighe, Wilmington (Logan, NJ) - Placed fourth at the CACC Championships by carding a 153 (77, 76).
