WATERBURY, Conn.-Post University men's golf Head Coach Pete Stevens, will appear on Sports Talk on 1080 WTIC-AM, Thursday evening at approximately 6:15 p.m. The show airs weekdays from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Stevens will speak with host Joe D'Ambrosio about the recent success of the men's golf program at Post University, and preview the upcoming Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Championships, at the Back Creek Country Club in Wilmington, Del., April 13-16.

A veteran broadcaster in the State of Connecticut, D'Ambrosio is also the play-by-play voice of the UConn football, men's basketball, and select, women's basketball games.

Post will be vying for its third straight CACC Championship, and will be looking to earn its fourth straight trip to the NCAA Division II Northeast Regional Championships, May 5-7, also at the Back Creek Country Club.

The Eagles are coming off a victory at the Peter King Memorial Golf Tournament, hosted by Dowling College, April 7. Post was led by freshman Ryan Phillip who captured individual medalist honors, by shooting a 146 (75-71) for the tournament.

Fellow freshman David McGregor, was named CACC Player and CACC Rookie of the Week on Monday, after finishing tied for second, with a 148 (78-71) at the Goldey-Beacom Invitational at the Hartefeld National Golf Course in Avondale, Pa.

The Eagles are ranked eighth in the NCAA Division II Northeast Region, according to the latest poll released on March 28. With the performances the past two weeks, the Eagles look to move up in the rankings.
