ESSEX COUNTY GOLF CHAMPION SIGNS WITH FELICIAN

RUTHERFORD, N.J. ? Joe Leardo of Belleville has signed a national letter of intent to continue his golf career at Felician College, Felician head coach Ben DiNallo Jr. announced today.
Leardo is a 2007 graduate of Belleville High. He won the 2007 Essex County Tournament in a sudden death playoff, and is a four-time first-team Northern New Jersey Interscholastic League honoree. As a senior, he also finished second in the NNJIL Division B Tournament.
Leardo was also a three-time first-team All-NNJIL selection in bowling. The son of Joseph and Nancy Leardo, he is undecided on a major course of study.
