McGREGOR NAMED CACC GOLFER OF THE WEEK

NEW HAVEN, CT - David McGregor of Post University has been named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Player and Rookie of the Week for golf for the week ending Sunday, April 6.

McGregor, a freshman from Helensburg, Scotland, tied for second place at the 16-team Goldey-Beacom Invitational after firing rounds of 77 and a one-over-par 71 (148, +5). He helped lead Post to a third place finish at the event.

Honorable Mention

Brian Mackey, Dominican (Sr., Chestnut Ridge, NY) - Tied for sixth place at the Goldey-Beacom Invitational. Shot a 149 (72, 77).

Lee Wanklyn, Post (So., Berkshire, England) - Tied for ninth at the Goldey-Beacom Invitational by shooting 75 in both rounds.

Joe Peters, Felician (So., Barnegat, NJ) - Was the medalist in a meet against Nyack, USP and Immaculata after shooting a school-record 75.
