PHILIPP NAMED CACC GOLFER OF THE WEEK

NEW HAVEN, CT-Ryan Philipp of Post University has been named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Golfer and Rookie of the Week for the week ending Sunday, April 13.

Philipp, a freshman from Bristol, CT, was the individual medalist at Dowling College's Peter King Memorial Invitational last Sunday and Monday. He shot rounds of 75 and 71 for a total of 146 (+4). He led the Eagles to the team championship.

Honorable Mention

Brian Mackey, Dominican (Sr., Chestnut Ridge, NY) - Finished in third place at the Peter King Memorial, shooting a 148 (75, 73), just two strokes behind the winner.

Jonathan Carr, Nyack (Sr., Ontario, Canada) - Tied for sixth place at the Peter King Memorial, shooting a 151 (77, 74).
