POST'S NOTLEY TIED FOR LEAD AFTER FIRST DAY OF GOLF REGIONAL

WHEELING, WV - Post University sophomore Lloyd Notley is tied for the individual lead at the 2007 NCAA Division II Men's Golf Northeast Regional Championship following first-round action on Monday. Goldey-Beacom College is fifth in the team standings and Post stands eighth at the 7,001-yard Speidel Golf Club in Wheeling, WV.

Notley is the clubhouse leader along with Dan Psinakis of Pace University, with a four-over par 75.

Notley, who began the first round on the 10th hole, fired a 37 through his first nine holes and followed with a 38 the rest of the way. He finished the round by birdying the final two holes with a four on the par-5 eighth and a three on the par-four ninth.

Goldey-Beacom shot a 325 and was led by senior Steve Cutler, who put himself in third place with a 76. Mark Agnew is tied for 11th after carding a 79.

Post shot a 333 and was aided by freshman Lee Wanklyn, who is tied for 15th with an 80. Dominican College individual Brian Mackey is also among the top-10 after shooting a 78 to tie for eighth place. Bryant is the team leader with a 319.
