NEW HAVEN, CT - Steve Cutler of Goldey-Beacom College and Lee Wanklyn of Post University have earned Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Golf weekly accolades for the second consecutive week after their performances at the Peter King Memorial Tournament.

Cutler, a senior from Kennett Square, PA, has been the choice for Player of the Week every week thus far in the spring. He finished in fourth place at the Peter King Memorial Tournament last Sunday and Monday. He fired a two-day total of 148 (76, 72) and was the top CACC finisher in the event. He led the Lightning to a fourth-place finish.

Wanklyn, a freshman from England, was named the Rookie of the Week for the second straight week after placing fifth at the Peter King Memorial. He finished with a two-round score of 149 (77, 72) to help lead the Eagles to a third-place finish.

Honorable Mention

John Radick, Holy Family - Fired a 70 to win a match against Felician, Nyack and Chestnut Hill.

John Purple, Wilmington - Carded a 153 in the two-day Peter King Memorial Tournament. Shot rounds of 76 and 77.

CACC Notes

Felician - Felician's six-stroke victory over Chestnut Hill on Wednesday during a quad meet at Holy Family was the first dual-match win in program history. The Golden Falcons, a second-year program, were 0-7 last year and had dropped their only previous dual in 2006-07 to Philadelphia University in November. Freshman Rob Young set a school record with an 83, and classmate Joseph Peters, who held the previous record with an 85, matched that total.

USP - USP is now 4-6 on the season and has defeated four of its last five opponents. Dan Lovette and Scott Cahayla have shot under 80 in all three spring matches for the Devils.
