CARR NAMED CACC GOLFER OF THE WEEK

NEW HAVEN, CT - Jonathan Carr of Nyack College has been named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Men's Golf Player of the Week for the period ending Sunday, April 22. Lee Wanklyn of Post University has earned Rookie of the Week honors.
Carr, a senior from Aurora, Ontario, Canada, finished in first place at the 2007 CACC Championships in Middletown, DE, last Tuesday. He fired a one-over par 72 to lead the Warriors to a fourth-place finish.
Wanklyn, a freshman from England, finished in third place at the CACC Championships with a round of 74 to lead the Eagles to the team title. He was the first, first-year player to finish at the event.
