DOMINICAN GOLFERS QUALIFY AT MGA PUBLIC LINKS MATCH

Blauvelt, NY - Three members of the Dominican College golf team have qualified for the MGA Public Links Championship after the first round of play ended yesterday at Blue Hill Golf Course in Orangetown, NY.

Justin Jacaruso, a junior from Suffern, NY, shot a 72 for a third place finish on the day. Sophomore, Brian Mackey, who hails from Chestnut Ridge, NY, finished right behind him with a 73 and freshman A.J. Lee, a native of Nanuet, NY, shot a 74.

The lowest eight scores, including ties, out of a 120 participants qualified for the Championship which will be held at Spook Rock Golf Course on July 6.
