POST GOLFERS PLAY FINAL TWO TUNE-UPS BEFORE NCAAs

Waterbury, CT-The Post University golf team won a tri-match at Lyman Orchards Country Club a day after finishing a disappointing fourth at the New Haven Invitational.

At Lyman, Tom Dorso (Waterbury, CT) fired a 72, as did Dave Croteau (Terryville, CT). The duo was co-medallists. Post?s Calum Malcolm (Dunferminline, Scotland) ended in third with a 75. Post?s team total was 305. Southern New Hampshire ended at 325, while the University of Massachusetts Lowell came in at 347.

On Monday Post finished fourth of seven teams at the New Haven Invitational. Dorso finished second with a 74.

Post will compete Monday-Wednesday May 2-4 at the NCAA Super Regional Tournament in Jackson, New Jersey at Pine Barrens Country Club.

The golf team is the first team ever to participate in an NCAA tournament.
