POST STRUGGLES IN DAY ONE OF NCAAs

Jackson, NJ?The Post University golf team, ranked third in the northeast region, came in seventh of eight teams after day one of the NCAA Super Regionals.

Post shot 326, 22 strokes behind Bryant College. Tommy Dorso (Waterbury, CT) is in ninth place with a 77, four shots behind two players. Dave Croteau (Terryville, CT) and Calum Malcolm (Dunferminline, Scotland) ended with 82. Jeff Adams (Waterbury, CT) shot a 85. Full scores are available at www.golfstat.com

?I hit the ball solid, but a few putts got away from me,? said Dorso whose round included four three-putts.

Croteau had four three-putts also and Adams was five over after 14, but struggled on his final four holes on the par 72.
