CACC GOLF CHAMPIONSHIPS: GOLDEY-BEACOM LEADS AFTER

April 18, 2005

MIDDLEFIELD, CT- Junior Tommy Dorso, Jr. (Waterbury, CT) of Post University leads after day one of the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Golf Tournament, but Goldey-Beacom College leads the team standings.

Dorso fired a two over round of 74 and leads Mike Tobiason (Wilmington, DE) of Goldey-Beacom College by one shot.

Steve Cutler (Goldey-Beacom), Lorne Shannon (Wilmington) and Bill Fitzgerald (Holy Family) are three shots back.

Goldey finished at 320. Post is next at 321. Nyack College (329), Wilmington College (333), Dominican College (336), Holy Family University (342), and Caldwell College (471) round out the team scores. Round two will take place tomorrow at 9:00 AM at Lyman Orchards in Middlefield, Connecticut.
