Goldey-Beacom Places 12th at Invitational @ The Concord

JACKSON, NJ ? The Goldey-Beacom College golf team finished in 12th place at the Invitational @ The Concord at the Pine Barrens in New Jersey.

The Lightning finished at +57 for the tournament, shooting a 323 in round one and a 326 in round two for a total of 649. Indiana University of Pennsylvania captured the tournament crown, finishing at +4 with a two-round total of 596.

Junior Mike Tobiason (Wilmington, DE) was the top golfer for Goldey-Beacom, finishing tied for 15th place at +6 (154), followed by junior Nick Nardo (Newark, DE), who finished in a tie for 35th place at +12 (160).

Sophomore Steve Cutler (Kennett Square, PA) placed 42nd at +13 (161) for GBC while freshman Mark Agnew (Newark, DE) was next in a tie for 64th place at +26 (174). Senior Chris Ciupinski (Ocean Township, NJ) rounded out the Lightning golfers, finishing in 73rd place at +36 (184).

The meet concludes the 2004 fall season for the Lightning.
