HOLY FAMILY WOMEN'S SOCCER UPENDS PACE, 2-1

PHILADELPHIA * Kaitlin Gavaghan (Jr./Philadelphia, PA/Archbishop Ryan) scored her team-leading seventh goal of the season just 4:18 into overtime as Holy Family (7-3-2) defeated Pace (5-6-2) 2-1 Tuesday afternoon in women's soccer play.

Gavaghan scored her goal off of an assist from Ashley Antczak (Fr./Westville, NJ/West Deptford) as the Tigers scored the final two goals of the game.

Pace took an early 1-0 lead just four minutes in when Nina Schoeler scored her second goal of the season on a cross from Allison Levine.

Holy Family tied the score at 1-1 at 72:10 when Theresa Cirino (Sr./Philadelphia, PA/Archbishop Ryan) scored on assists from Jamie-Lynn Wallace (So./Bensalem, PA/Nazareth) and Calli Nagle (So./Philadelphia, PA/Little Flower).

Holy Family, who was outshot 17-12, got ten saves from Kelly McGrogan (Jr./Philadelphia, PA/St. Hubert's). Pace got six saves from Jocelyne Durando.

Holy Family will travel to Post on Saturday afternoon, while Pace will take on Bentley.
