TIGER WOMEN CLINCH BYE IN UPCOMING CACC TOURNAMENT

WILMINGTON, Del. ? Melissa Gamble (Sr./Philadelphia, PA/George Washington) scored just 92 seconds into the contest as the Tigers (10-5-2, 8-1-1 CACC) finished its conference slate with a 5-0 win over Goldey-Beacom (6-8-1, 5-4 CACC) Wednesday afternoon.

With the win, the Tigers clinched a bye in the upcoming conference playoffs. The Tigers can clinch the top seed if Georgian Court defeats Philadelphia on Saturday morning.

Gamble scored on a assist from Theresa Cirino (Sr./Philadelphia, PA/Archbishop Ryan) and then went up 2-0 at 29:54 when Ashley Antczak (Fr./Westville, N.J./West Deptford) scored on an assist from Brianne Redelheim (Sr./Philadelphia, PA/St. Hubert's).

Redelheim assisted on the third goal at 66:45, when Sarah Hane (Jr./Bensalem, PA/Bensalem) scored to give Holy Family a 3-0 lead.

Jamie Lynn-Wallace (So./Bensalem, PA/Bensalem) scored the fourth and fifth goals of the game unassisted at 79:30 and 80:39.

Kelly McGrogan (Jr./Philadelphia, PA/St. Hubert's) made just one save as she faced seven shots.

Holy Family will be in action on Thursday in the semifinals of the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Tournament.
