POST SPOILS FELICIAN COMEBACK WITH DOUBLE-OT GOAL

RUTHERFORD, N.J. ? Post University scored in the fourth minute of the second overtime period to earn a 3-2 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference women's soccer victory over host Felician College on Wednesday afternoon at Tryon Field.

An 11-yard shot by Maria Krug (Norwich, CT/NFA) from in front of the goal traveled inside the left post to give Post (7-5-2, 5-1) the victory at 103:48. Following a corner kick, an attempted cross was deflected by Felician goalkeeper Feliz Cardenas (Long Branch, NJ/Long Branch). The Eagles' Kelli Veras (Trumbull, CT/Trumbull) was first to the ball and found Krug for the game-winner. Post owned a 34-10 advantage in shots, including 6-3 after regulation.

Trailing 2-0 at halftime, Felician (1-13, 1-7) tied the game with two goals in a span of two minutes, 40 seconds. Freshman Dara Klatsky (Nutley, NJ/Nutley) recorded her first collegiate goal in the 74th minute, and senior Arianna Beam (North Arlington, NJ/North Arlington) got free on a breakaway and scored the equalizer at 76:04.

Krug had two goals and Veras a goal and an assist for the Eagles. Post keeper Katie Desrosiers (Granby, MA/Granby) earned the victory with four saves. Cardenas had seven saves for the Golden Falcons.
