CALDWELL, N.J. -- The Felician volleyball team (2-11, 2-8) set a school record for victories in a 3-1 (30-13 21-30 30-21 30-28) CACC win over host Caldwell College on Wednesay night at the Newman Center.
The winless Cougars won their first game of the season in Game 2, then nearly forced a fifth game, erasing a 26-21 deficit in Game 4 for a 28-28 tie. But kills by Felician's Laura Peskosky and LaKeisha Milstrey ended the match.
Milstrey finished with 27 kills, setting the school single-match record for the third time this season. She also had 16 digs. Peskosky posted a career-high 22 kills, a total which would have also bested the previous school record, and 15 digs.
Senior Suzanne Albert had a career-high 26 digs, as five of the Golden Falcons' six starters had double-figure dig totals. Nicole Degenhardt broke the school record for assists for the fourth time this season with 37.
Amy Ransom had 13 kills and 21 digs for Caldwell (0-11, 0-10).
