DOMINICAN MEN PLAY TO 2-2 TIE WITH LE MOYNE

Blauvelt, NY - The Dominican College men's soccer team played to a 2-2 tie with Le Moyne College this afternoon in an non-conference game held at the DC Soccer Field.
With five seconds remaining in the first half, junior midfielder Eric Macias (Silverspring, MD) netted a goal off a corner kick to give the Dolphins a 1-0 lead.
CACC Player of the Week, James Hamilton (Renfrewshire, Scotland) tied the game at 1-1 off the pass by junior Ryan Clancy (Pine Bush, NY) at 48:16. Dominican went ahead 2-1 in the 50th minute when Jhonny Arteaga (Cali, Colombia) put one past the Dolphin keeper off the dish by Hamilton.
Le Moyne tied the game at 2-2 at the 54:40 mark when Brandon Oot (Lafayette, NY) got a pass from Ryan Cunningham (Baldwinsville, NY) and put it by the DC keeper.
After two scoreless overtimes, the game ended in a 2-2 tie. DC out shot the Dolphins 23-10 in a physical game with 38 fouls called.
Le Moyne keeper Steve White (Cortland, NY) had 10 saves, while Dominican keeper Robert Kelly (Kearny, NJ) had three saves.
With the tie, both teams now stand at 8-3-2 on the year.
The Chargers are back in action on Thursday when they travel to Nyack College in a CACC game scheduled for 3:30 pm.
