FURIOUS FELICIAN RALLY FALLS SHORT AGAINST BENTLEY

WALTHAM, Mass. ? Felician College's Armin Tandir (Hackettstown, NJ/Hackettstown) scored twice in a three-minute, 21 second span late in the second half, but his team fell to host Bentley College, 3-2, in non-conference men's soccer action Monday afternoon at the Bentley Soccer Complex.

Felician (2-10-2) fell behind 35 seconds into the match when Bentley's Jimmy Alexander (Hanover, NH/Hanover) struck a shot that hit off both posts before crossing the goal line. The score remained 1-0 for just over 84 minutes, before four goals were scored in the game's final 5:24.

Bentley (7-5-2) appeared to put the game away when Geoffrey Cooke (Vienna, Austria) scored twice in 38 seconds for a 3-0 lead with 4:46 remaining. But Tandir knocked home an unassisted tally with 4:04 on the clock, and with 0:43 to play, Felician was awarded a penalty kick, which Tandir converted. Bentley then was able to run out the clock for the victory.

Bentley goalkeeper Derek DuBois (Walpole, MA/Walpole) made three saves in the victory. Paulo DosSantos (Toronto, Canada/Sir Oliver Mowat) had four saves for the Golden Falcons.
