BLOOMFIELD, NJ - Jonathan Moehlig of the Bloomfield College baseball team has been selected as a finalist for the nationally recognized "John Wooden Citizens Cup Award" for community service and humanitarianism as an NCAA student-athlete.

The formal announcement of Moehlig being selected as a finalist for this prestigious award came on Tuesday November 27th.

"This is a very prestigious national award; just to be one of the finalists is a great acknowledgement for John and the Bloomfield College Community", said head baseball coach Matt Belford.

Moehlig and a representative from Bloomfield College will be traveling to Atlanta, Georgia, for the national banquet and awards presentation on January 24, 2008.
