WILMINGTON BASEBALL STANDOUT RUST FEATURED IN SPORTS ILLUSTRATED

NEW HAVEN, CT - Wilmington College baseball standout Jason Rust is featured in "Faces in the Crowd" in this week's Sports Illustrated. Rust recently concluded his senior year at Wilmington.

Rust appears in the June 18th edition of the magazine with the New York Mets on the cover. Rust's photo appears and is accompanied by a caption that reads; "Rust, a senior rightfielder at Wilmington College, hit for the home run cycle (solo, two-run, three-run and grand-slam homers) in a win over the University of the Sciences. A Division II All-America, he batted .360 and led the Central Athletic Collegiate Conference in homers (21) and RBIs (62).
