RUTHERFORD, NJ - Felician College part-time head baseball coach Chris Langan of Hazlet has been promoted to the full-time position of facilities/equipment manager and head baseball coach, director of athletics Ben DiNallo Jr. announced today.

Langan is in his fourth season leading the Golden Falcons following two years as a Felician assistant. He has amassed a career won-lost record of 69-96. In 2006, he guided the Golden Falcons to a school record 29 victories, a runner-up finish in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference tournament, and the program's first Eastern College Athletic Conference playoff berth.

Langan was an all-state performer at Keyport High and an all-conference player at Bloomfield College before completing his playing career at Kean University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in special education in 1998. In his new position, he will be responsible for scheduling events in the Joal & Joseph Job Gymnasium, managing the fitness centers on the Lodi and Rutherford campuses, and ordering and maintaining inventory of athletic equipment.
