FELICIAN'S CALABRESE GARNERS THIRD HONOR OF THE WEEK

RUTHERFORD, NJ - Felician freshman relief pitcher Jeff Calabrese claimed his third Rookie of the Week honor Wednesday, earning Gotham Baseball Magazine's collegiate award. Calabrese has also been honored this week by the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference and New Jersey Collegiate Baseball Association.

In the reporting period of March 5-11, Calabrese went 1-1 with a 0.00 ERA in three appearances, suffering his loss by allowing an unearned run in a tie game. He pitched 4 1/3 innings in that time, allowing one hit and striking out five.

Calabrese picked up his first career save Wednesday in an 8-5 win at Dowling College. He is 3-1 with a 0.64 ERA on the season for the 9-11 Golden Falcons.
