THREE CACC BASEBALL TEAMS RANKED IN REGION

March 20, 2007

RINDGE, NH - Three Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) baseball teams are ranked in this week's National Collegiate Baseball Writers of America (NCBWA) Division II Northeast Region Poll. Philadelphia is sixth, Dominican stands eighth and Caldwell is 10th. Wilmington received votes.

Franklin Pierce was the unanimous choice atop the poll after a 12-1 start to the season. Philadelphia is the only team to defeat the Ravens thus far. The Rams opened the season with a 6-3 win over Franklin Pierce on March 4. The Ravens won the second game of the double-header. The Rams are 4-5 this season.

Dominican has won four of its last five games and is now 4-5 this season. The Chargers are coming off an 8-1 win over Pace University, the No. 5 team in this week's poll.

Caldwell is now 5-3 this season after a loss to #29 Tusculum Monday night.
