Caldwell will serve as the No. 4 seed in the six-team tournament, while Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Tournament Champion Wilmington will be the No. 6 seed. The tournament will be hosted in Rindge, NH, by Franklin Pierce College. This marks the first time the CACC has had multiple selections in the NCAA Regional Baseball Tournament.

Franklin Pierce is the top seed for the tournament and they are followed by #2 Adelphi (34-15), #3 UMass-Lowell (33-18), #4 Caldwell, #5 Bryant (32-22) and #6 Wilmington.

Wilmington earned an automatic berth into the tournament after winning the CACC Tournament with a 10-7 victory over Caldwell Saturday afternoon. Wilmington swept its way through the tournament, going 3-0 in games against Felician, Dominican and Caldwell.

The Wildcats are 29-18 overall after placing second in the CACC regular-season with a 10-6 record. Wilmington will face Franklin Pierce on Thursday, May 17, at 11:00 am. The Ravens are 45-9 overall and won the Northeast-10 Conference Tournament Championship with two wins over Bryant University on Sunday.

This is the second appearance in the NCAA Regional for Caldwell, which played in the 2004 Tournament after winning the CACC Championship. The Cougars are currently 24-13 and won the CACC regular-season championship with an 11-5 record. Caldwell will open against No. 3 UMass-Lowell on Thursday at 6:00 pm.
