RESCINITI ADDS ECAC HONOR

NEWARK, N.J. -- NJIT senior Phil Resciniti was an all-Eastern College Athletic Conference Division II baseball honoree at catcher, the ECAC recently announced.

The all-ECAC team consists of just 12 players selected by a coaches vote from the more than 40 Division II baseball-playing members of the ECAC. Only a First Team is selected.

Resciniti hit .361 with 11 doubles, four homers, 28 runs and 33 RBI in leading the Highlanders to their first winning season since 1995. He has also been named NJIT Male Athlete of the Year, first-team all-CACC, third-team all-NJCBA and second-team all-region.
