NJIT Baseball Update

The NJIT baseball doubleheader at the University of the Sciences tomorrow has been changed to a 1 p.m. start time. The games will be played at Richie Ashburn Stadium in Philadelphia.
The NJIT home game on Sunday against USP will be used as a "practice game" for the Newark Bears' game-day operations staff. The teams will play under the "atmosphere" of a professional baseball game (promotions, message board displays, etc). Admission is still free as usual. Sunday is also Baseball Alumni Day.
There is a chance, if tomorrow's doubleheader is postponed due to rain, that Sunday will become a doubleheader.
