POST BASEBALL SPLITS WITH NYACK COLLEGE

WATERBURY, CT-The Post University baseball team recorded a doubleheader split with Nyack College in a pair of Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference games in Nyack, New York.

In the opener, a 12-10 Eagle win, Denis Devaux (Bridgeport, CT) notched Post?s second victory of the season. Devaux has both wins. Mike Padovani (Wolcott, CT) picked up his second save. Jimmy Coleman (Marston Mills, MA) had three hits, scored three runs and added two RBIs. Tommy Torres (New Britain, CT) had three RBIs, three hits, and scored two runs. Matt Rheault (Agawam, MA) contributed two RBIs. Chris Gelalich (Arcadia, CA) added two RBIs and two hits. Mike Pagan (Bridgeport, CT) gathered three hits and scored a pair of runs.

For Nyack, Beef Griffin had three hits, four RBI and two runs scored.

In the nightcap, a 7-0 Nyack triumph, the Warriors were led by Billy Gleason pitched a complete game three-hitter. He struck out 11 and walked none. Andrew Ashlock was 2-2, including two doubles and two RBI.

Post will visit Felician College Friday at 3:30 in North Haledon, New Jersey.
