Franklin Pierce First in NCBWA Northeast Region Rankings

RINDGE, N.H. - ? Franklin Pierce is ranked first in this week?s National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) Division II Northeast Regional poll.

Franklin Pierce (16-8), winners of 10 of 12, claimed three of the five first place votes and totaled 47 points to retain the top spot in the region for the second-straight week and third time over the last four.

Southern Connecticut State (16-8) took the other two first place votes and is second with 45 points, while UMass Lowell is third and Pace University and Bryant University round out the top five. The complete top
