CACC UNVEILS TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONSHIP LOGOS

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) unveiled a new CACC Tournament Championship logo in an announcement by Commissioner Dan Mara today. The design of the logo will enable it to be unique to each conference tournament.

To the right is an example of the new championship logos. Certain information on the logo can be changed from tournament to tournament, including the sport, year and location of the tournament. This example is for the 2010 CACC Men's Basketball Tournament, which will be hosted by Caldwell College in Caldwell, NJ.

The logo showcases a secondary CACC logo and the NCAA trademark. The logo also includes "Divison II" above the NCAA logo as well as utilizing the hexagon shape used in the NCAA's "I Chose Division II" campaign. The logo is comprised of the conference's traditional red, white and blue colors.

Royal Rooster Design of Johnston, Iowa, was enlisted to create the logo. Royal Rooster is no stranger to the CACC, as it created the primary CACC logo among other conference marks. It also designed logos for CACC members Caldwell College and Dominican College.
