CACC RELEASES COMPOSITE 2009 FALL SPORTS SCHEDULES
NEW HAVEN, CT (August 4, 2009) - The composite schedules for the 2009 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) fall sports are now posted on www.caccatheltics.org. All the contests for men's and women's soccer, volleyball, women's tennis and men's and women's cross country are available to view.
August 27 will be a busy day, as the men's and women's soccer and volleyball seasons all commence. The men's soccer schedule can be viewed here. The season kicks off with five games on the slate, as Wilmington University, Dominican College, Nyack College, Caldwell College and Bloomfield College open their 2009 campaigns. Wilmington and Nyack will be hosting tournaments to begin the season.
The women's soccer season will also start on the 27th with five games, as Caldwell, Felician College, Post University, Chestnut Hill College and Philadelphia University will all see action. The complete schedule can be viewed here.
The 2009 volleyball season will begin with four matches on the 27th, with conference newcomer, Concordia (N.Y.) College, playing two matches at Southern Connecticut State against the Owls and NYIT. Philadelphia and Dominican will also open their campaigns. The volleyball schedule can be viewed here.
The women's tennis season commences on Friday, Aug. 28 when Chestnut Hill visits Molloy. The Griffins and Philadelphia play a non-conference match the following day, and Georgian Court University hosts Molloy. Click here to view the 2009 schedule.
The majority of the CACC cross country programs will open the season at invitationals on Saturday, Sept. 5. USP, Felician, Chestnut Hill and Bloomfield will all compete at the Delaware Valley Invitational. Nyack will run at the Saint Rose Golden Knights Joust, Wilmington will travel to the UMES-Lid Lifter Invitational and Georgian Court will run at the Monmouth Kick-Off Run.
