CACC ANNOUNCES WINTER ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM

NEW HAVEN, CT -The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) has announced its All-Academic team for the 2006-07 winter athletic season today. A total of 18 student-athletes among the 12 conference schools appear on the list.

In order to be named to the CACC All-Academic team, recipients must have participated in a winter CACC Championship sport, be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, have been a student at their current school for at least two semesters, and achieve a cumulative grade-point-average of 3.50 or higher. The complete list of honorees, separated by sport, is below.

USP senior guard Shelby Rance has now been named to the All-Academic team six times in her career (three times for cross country and three times for basketball). She becomes the first student-athlete in the CACC to be named to the All-Academic team six times.
