CACC HONORS FALL ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM

NEW HAVEN, CT - The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) has announced its All-Academic team for the 2006 fall athletic season today. A total of 129 student-athletes among the 12 conference schools have earned a place on the list.

A total of 15 student-athletes have earned the honor for the third time in their careers. The list includes seven student-athletes from Caldwell, four from USP and two from both Bloomfield and Felician. The list of three-time honorees is below.

Men's Soccer - Bard Skjelstad, Caldwell, Miguel Walker, Caldwell, Michael Furino, Felician, Nick Levinson, Felician

Women's Soccer - Gabriella Dondero, Bloomfield, Victoria Aguilera, Caldwell, Jenna Crance, Caldwell, Marcy Reda, Caldwell

Volleyball - Juruena Silveira, Bloomfield

Men's Cross Country - George Strock, USP

Women's Cross Country - Kathryn Doster, Caldwell, Shelby Rance, USP, Amanda Reed, USP

Women's Tennis - Joellen Keaney, Caldwell, Tara Torrone, USP

In order to be named to the CACC All-Academic team, recipients must have participated in a CACC Championship sport this past fall, be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, have been a student at their current school for at least two semesters, and achieve a cumulative grade-point-average of 3.50 or higher through the previous semester.
