CACC CONTINUES ALL-ACADEMIC PROGRAM WITH WINTER AWARSApril 22, 2005Conference Honors 20 Basketball Student-Athletes NEWARK, N.J. – The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference continued its inaugural All-Academic program by releasing its honorees for the winter athletic season on Friday. The Winter 2004-05 CACC All-Academic Teams honored 20 student-athletes in men’s and women’s basketball, the conference’s only two winter championship sports. Recipients must have participated in the sport, been at least a sophomore athletically and academically, been a student at their current school for at least two semesters, and achieved a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.50. The complete list of honorees, with GPAs, is below. The CACC has bestowed All-Academic status on 114 student-athletes from all 12 member schools in eight sports thus far in the 2004-05 academic year.
