Men?s Basketball: The Goldey-Beacom College men?s basketball team opens the 2004-05 campaign this Friday when it travels to Maryland to take on Bowie State in the first game of the Bowie State Tournament. The Lightning meet CACC rival Bloomfield College on Saturday, November 20 in the second game of the tournament. The Lightning look to rebound from a 4-23 season with three returning starters.

Women?s Basketball: The Goldey-Beacom College women?s basketball team opens the 2004-04 season under new head coach Charlie Baltimore this Tuesday when it hosts East Stroudsburg University at MBNA America Hall at 6 p.m. The Lightning will then travel to Pennsylvania to take on Philadelphia University on Saturday, November 20 at 2 p.m. Goldey-Beacom returns just one starter from last season?s 9-17 squad.

Cross Country (Women) ? The Goldey-Beacom College women?s cross country season is complete.

Cross Country (Men) ? The Goldey-Beacom College men?s cross country season is complete.

Golf: The Goldey-Beacom College fall golf season is complete.

Women?s soccer ? The Goldey-Beacom College women?s soccer season is complete.

Men?s Soccer: The Goldey-Beacom College men?s soccer season is complete.

Volleyball ? The Goldey-Beacom College volleyball team fell to Dominican College 3-0 in the first round of the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference tournament last Tuesday. Freshman Adrienne Melvin (Newark, DE) posted her fifth ?triple-double? of the season in the loss, posting 19 kills, 21 assists and 20 digs. The Lightning finish the season 18-14 and 15-5 in the CACC.
