WATERBURY, CT - Dr. Patricia Sanders, Ph.D., retiring President of Post University, was presented a CACC Commemorative desk clock by Commissioner Dan Mara on Tuesday, August 12. The presentation, on behalf of the CACC Presidents Council, was held at her office at the school’s Waterbury Campus.

HOLY FAMILY EDGES PHILADELPHIA ATOP CACC WOMEN'S SOCCER PRESEASON POLL

NEW HAVEN, CT – Holy Family University edged Philadelphia University by just two points to top the 2008 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) women’s soccer preseason poll, which was released today. The voting was conducted by the CACC head coaches. Holy Family garnered seven first-place votes and 138 overall points, while Philadelphia picked up 136 points and five first-place nods.

WILMINGTON LANDS IN TOP SPOT IN CACC MEN'S SOCCER PRESEASON POLL

August 12, 2008

NEW HAVEN, CT – Wilmington University is the preseason favorite to win the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Men’s Soccer regular-season championship, according to preseason balloting released today. The Wildcats received 113 points and four first-place votes to top the poll. Dominican College garnered the most first-place votes with five, but finished second with 107 total points. Four schools picked up at least one first-place nod in voting that was conducted by the 11 head coaches in the league.
