  • Jefferson & Belmont Plateau to Once Again Host CACC Cross Country Championships in 2018

    NEW HAVEN, Conn. (July 19, 2018) -- Jefferson (Thomas Jefferson University + Philadelphia University) will serve as the host institution for the 2018 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Men's & Women's Cross Country Championships, as announced on Thursday by Commissioner Dan Mara. Jefferson will host the championship event on Sunday, Oct. 28, at Belmont Plateau in Philadelphia.
  • Post University to Host 2018 CACC Women's Tennis Championship at Edgewood Bath & Tennis Club in October

    NEW HAVEN, Conn. (July 18, 2018) -- Post University will serve as the host institution for the semifinals and final of the 2018 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Women's Tennis Championship, as announced on Wednesday by Commissioner Dan Mara. The dates for the championship include the first round on Tuesday, Oct. 16, with the semifinals and final on Saturday-Sunday, Oct. 20-21. The semis and final will be held at the Edgewood Bath & Tennis Club in Middlebury, Conn.

(July 17, 2018) -- Four Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference volleyball teams (Caldwell University, Chestnut Hill College, Georgian Court University & Holy Family University) were recently recognized with 2017-18 Team Academic Excellence Awards from the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA). The announcement was made by the national coaches organization.

The announcement was made by the national organization of collegiate basketball coaches.
  • Ten CACC Female Student-Athletes Named as Nominees for the 2018 NCAA Woman of the Year Award

(July 17, 2018) -- Ten (10) Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) female student-athletes were recently named nominees for the 2018 NCAA Woman of the Year award, as announced by the national organization. Overall, 581 female student-athletes were nominated for the prestigious award.
  • Wilmington to Host 2018 CACC Golf Championship at Deerfield Country Club (Sept. 29-Oct. 1)

    NEW HAVEN, Conn. (July 17, 2018) -- Wilmington University and Deerfield Country Club in Newark, Del., will serve as the hosts for the 2018 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Golf Championship, as announced on Tuesday by Commissioner Dan Mara. The championship will be held Sept. 29 through Oct. 1, with the 29th being the practice round day, followed by the first round on the 30th and the final round on the 1st.

  • Garabedian and Paukovits Officially Added As Heads of Tennis and Golf Programs

    PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (July 10 2018) – Chestnut Hill College Interim Director of Athletics and Recreation, Jesse Balcer is pleased to announce the removal of the "interim" tag from the title of Head Golf Coach Mike Paukovits, as well as, introduce Alan Garabedian as the new head coach for the men's and women's tennis programs. "In his one season as the interim head coach, Mike Paukovits has displayed his ability to continue to build a solid golf program at Chestnut Hill College. His knowledge of the game partnered with his ability to form relationships with his student-athletes were two keys in removing the interim tag." He continued, "Alan Garabedian has a passion for both teaching the game of tennis, as well as, a strong hold of the mission of the college. Last season, as an assistant, he displayed an ability to build confidence in his student-athletes and I feel that his influence on the men's and women's tennis programs will lead to great seasons in the near future."
  • Chestnut Hill Names Tim Moyer as New Head Volleyball Coach

    PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (July 11, 2018) – Chestnut Hill College Interim Director of Athletics and Recreation, Jesse Balcer is pleased to announce that former Jefferson Head Women's Volleyball Coach, Tim Moyer, has accepted appointment as the next Head Coach for the Scarlet and Gold's women's volleyball program. "We are very excited to add Tim Moyer to our team of coaches here at Chestnut Hill College. His record in the conference speaks volumes about his knowledge of the sport and the CACC (Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference) as well. I am looking forward to working with Tim and watching him help our volleyball program grow into a league contender." Moyer led Jefferson to the 2016 CACC Championship in his second season at the helm. The Lady Rams returned to the CACC Championship match in 2017 after posting a league-best 26-7 overall record and 18-1 conference standing as top team in the South Division.

  • Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Partners with Blue Frame Technology to Create the New CACC Network

    NEW HAVEN, Conn. (June 26, 2018) -- The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) on Tuesday announced the league office and all 14 member schools have partnered with Blue Frame Technology to create the all-new CACC Network, as announced by Commissioner Dan Mara. The partnership will enable all 14 schools to webstream their broadcasts to one platform through Blue Frame, beginning with the 2018-19 athletic season. In addition, each of the conference's 16 championship events will also be webstreamed to the platform, along with other original content.

It marks the third year in a row a Post female student-athlete earned the prestigious honor, as former volleyball standout Skylar German won it two years in a row in 2016 and 2017.

    AUSTIN, Texas (June 20, 2018) – Post University three-sport student-athlete, sophomore Kendall Fitzgerald (Kamloops, British Columbia) was named to the Google Cloud Academic All-American® Women's Track & Field/Cross Country Second Team on Wednesday. She is the first Post student-athlete from the cross country/track and field program to earn All-American honors and was the lone sophomore selected to this year's team.

(June 19, 2018) – Concordia College freshman Minwoo Park (Toronto, Ontario, Canada) has been named a National Collegiate Athletic Association(NCAA) Division II PING All-America Honorable Mention as announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) on Tuesday. Park is the first-ever GCAA NCAA Division II PING All-America Honorable Mention for the Concordia men's golf program since their first season of competition during the 2010-11 academic year.

(June 18, 2018) -- Felician University baseball standout Bruce Strickland on Monday was named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Student-Athlete of the Month for May, as announced by Commissioner Dan Mara. Strickland earned the honor for demonstrating success on the diamond, in the classroom and in the surround community. He is the ninth and final monthly honoree for the 2017-18 athletic season.

The announcement was made by the national organization of sports information directors. Leckonby was named to the Academic All-America First Team, while Miletic garnered a spot on the second team.
