    NEW CASTLE, Del. (November 19, 2017) -- After dropping the opening set, the Caldwell University volleyball team responded by winning the next three sets to down Jefferson (Philadelphia University + Thomas Jefferson University), 3-1, and capture the 2017 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Volleyball Championship on Sunday at the Wilmington University Athletic Complex in New Castle, Del. It marked the third CACC Championship in program history and was the first for head coach John Titus.

    NEW CASTLE, DEL. (November 18, 2017) -- It will be a rematch in the 2017 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Volleyball Championship Final on Sunday, as both Jefferson (Philadelphia University + Thomas Jefferson University) and Caldwell University were victorious in Saturday's semifinals at the Wilmington University Athletic Complex in New Castle, Del. The Rams (South #1 Seed) defeated South No. 3 seed Georgian Court University, 3-1, in the day's first semifinal, while Caldwell (North #1 Seed) handed South No. 2 seed Holy Family University a 3-1 setback in the day's second contest.

(November 15, 2017) -- The CACC Digital Network is excited to announce that it will once again be providing live webstreaming of all three matches during the Championship Weekend of the 2017 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Volleyball Championship. The weekend will feature the two semifinal matches on Saturday at 1 and 3:30 p.m., followed on Sunday by the championship final at 12 p.m. Both rounds will be held at Wilmington University in New Castle, Del.

(November 14, 2017) -- Caldwell University standout Katrina Janssen on Tuesday was named the 2017 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Volleyball Player of the Year, as announced by Commissioner Dan Mara. In addition to being named player of the year, Janssen also garnered a spot on the All-CACC First Team, as the league announced all major award winners and all-conference honorees on the day the 2017 CACC Volleyball Quarterfinals are to begin. Nominating and voting for the all-conference and major awards was conducted by the league's 14 head coaches in the sport of volleyball.

The list included Suhail Bismilla (Goldey-Beacom College), Daniel Loyo (Wilmington University), Cameron Wilkinson (Goldey-Beacom), Chahin Aghrim (Goldey-Beacom) and Tom Yortson (Caldwell University). All five student-athletes will now move on for consideration for the CoSIDA Academic All-America Team, which will be announced later this month by the national organization of sports information directors.

  • CACC Tied for 5th in NCAA Division II in Highest Academic Success Rate Score

    NEW HAVEN, Conn. (November 9, 2017) -- The NCAA announced on Wednesday that the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) is tied for fifth out of the 24 Division II conferences for the highest Academic Success Rate (ASR) score with a mark of 79 percent. The CACC's average was seven points higher than the Division II-wide ASR mark of 72 percent.
  • Post's Samantha Fitzgerald Finishes Second at NCAA XC East Region Championship

    AMHERST, N.Y. (November 7, 2017) - Sophomore Kendall Fitzgerald (Kamloops, British Columbia) of the Post University cross country team finished second at the NCAA Division II East Regional Championships on Saturday at Audubon Golf Course in Amherst, N.Y. She completed in the 6K race in a time of 22:50.0 and qualified for the NCAA Division II National Championship. Fitzgerald is the first individual student-athlete in Post history to qualify for a national championship.

(November 3, 2017) -- The top-two seeds in the 2017 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Women's Soccer Championship tournament held serve on Friday in the semifinals and were victorious to set up a No. 1 vs. No. 2 showdown in the final on Sunday between Georgian Court University and Wilmington University at 12:30 p.m. Top-seeded GCU defeated fourth-seeded Goldey-Beacom College, 3-1, while the second-seeded Wildcats took down No. 3-seed Holy Family University by an identical score at the GCU Grass Field on the Georgian Court University campus in Lakewood, N.J.
