WARRIORS SOCCER: MAKING A DIFFERENCE

NYACK, NY - The Nyack College men's and women's soccer programs had a great time sharing their collective soccer experience with 150 young future soccer stars recently in a partnership with the Orangetown Mighty Midgets (OMM) Soccer Association's “Soccer Clinic Under The Lights”.
Both the Nyack men’s and women’s programs
participated with great success in working with these talented
young players and were able to “pay it forward” by
investing time in
relationships and being role models for these future Warriors.
According to women's head coach Bill Findley, “the Warriors stepped up to the plate and made an impact on some lives that will reap benefits in the years ahead. You just never know how a kind word or a gentle hug to a young child will impact their world.”
Captain Jen Jordan said, “The OMM soccer clinic is a wonderful opportunity for us as college athletes to invest in the lives of kids around us. It's a chance for us to impact people with the talent God's given us through the platform of soccer. And the kids make it alot of fun for us as well!”
Coach Findley shared some final thoughts. “As we continue down this road, we will make sure that our team grasps the importance of reaching out beyond ourselves to touch a life at every divine opportunity. It is absolutely critical that we understand this fundamental principle above and beyond anything else we do here at Nyack College.”
